Photographer Bob Jensen of Canogo Park, Calif., submitted this photo of Lady Washington and Hawaiian Chieftain during a Battle Sail near Oxnard on Saturday. The boats appear near the beach, but it's an artifact of the big 400 millimeter telephoto lens Bob used. He also applied a technique called "Venice Painting" to get the colors just so.
