Input Needed on Aberdeen Waterfront's Future
Are you interested in the future of Aberdeen's historic waterfront? The Grays Harbor Historical Seaport Authority and the City of Aberdeen's Planning Commission needs your input at a planning session 7 p.m. Thursday, May 17 at the Rotary Log Pavilion in Morrison Riverfront Park. GHHSA Executive Director Les Bolton will speak to the commission, and commission members will view a slideshow of images from Aberdeen's maritime history. The public will be invited to express their views about the future direction of the historic waterfront, including the role of Seaport Landing, the Historical Seaport's planned development at the former Weyerhaeuser sawmill site in South Aberdeen. Please bring your ideas and opinions!
